Our support workers, managers and admin staff are from a variety of backgrounds but all have a caring disposition and are committed to the well-being of the people they support.

Tina Taylor, Support Worker/Assessor
Tina joined the Bridge Care staff at its inception in 2000 and is a key player in the organisation. She not only provides excellent support to our service users in a variety of settings but also assists Kelly, our Quality Assurance Manager, with assessments and reviews. Tina was ‘North West Care Worker of the Year’ in 2010 – a well deserved accolade and holds an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care
Val Scarlett, Support Worker and Mobile Hairdresser
Val has been supporting our clients in the Marple area since 2003. She has a dual role with us – being both a trained hairdresser and excellent support worker. Her many satisfied clients will testify to feeling so much better when Val gives them a new ‘do’,

Helen joined the company in 2002 and worked as a community care worker and as Quality Assurance Manager before assuming her current role. Helen is also part of the ‘on call” out of hours team. She has NVQ Level 3 qualifications in Health & Social Care, as well at her Registered Manager’s qualification. Helen says she gains “satisfaction from knowing that quality support services are being provided and from supporting and valuing the staff who provide the service”.
Care Manager/Co-ordinator Marple Team
Heather began work at Bridge Care as a community care worker, in 2002. She quickly became a member of the ‘on call’ duty team (a job she still does) and assumed her current role in 2010. Heather holds a level 3 NVQ qualification in health and social care and is currently working towards a QCF management qualification. She says that “co-ordinating is a challenging but rewarding job. I gain a great deal of satisfaction from knowing quality support services are being provided in my area”.
